End of Life Doula
When we find ourselves or a loved one approaching the end of life, working with an end-of-life doula can help us find peace, empowerment, and celebration during one of life’s most sacred experiences. As an end-of-life doula, Wendy works with individuals and their families to help facilitate beautiful rituals, hold vigil, perform energy work, resolve end-of-life concerns, plan for passing, and provide support and comfort. Embracing Yoga Nidra
Often, people believe that transformation happens only in the space of “doing” and that change can only happen in the waking state. Yoga Nidra teaches us otherwise. Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation technique that enables you to disengage from your thoughts and observe them rather than believe them. By allowing us to access a space beyond the mind that transcends the waking state (the Power Before Thought), Yoga Nidra enables us to expand beyond the limitations of our perceptions and harness the healing benefits of our shifting perspectives.
For example, stressful thought patterns can impact our health and quality of life. Yoga Nidra allows us to transform these thought patterns of fear, stress, and anxiety by allowing us to experience our thoughts from a distance. We learn to relate to our thoughts differently and redirect the thought patterns informing our health and how we show up in all our relationships—especially our relationship with ourselves. The practice helps us create new relationships with the limiting beliefs, stories, and programming that unconsciously govern our lives.
At its core, Yoga Nidra honors the body as its healer and helps us create the environment necessary for deep inner healing. This practice is an integral part of all services.
